David Ales joins Century Truck Caps as GM

Century Truck Caps, a division of the Truck Accessories Group, LLC (TAG), has brought on David Ales as the company’s new General Manager.

A division of the Truck Accessories Group, LLC, Century Truck cites Ales’ manufacturing knowledge, managerial skills and operations experience as factors in the team addition.

“His excellent team leadership skills, coupled with his lean manufacturing and operations management experiences should position him well to lead the Century team and business to the next level of performance,” says Bruce Freeman, TAG president, of Ales.

Currently, Century — a full product line manufacturer — excels at production and delivery lead-time, delivering 97% of their product in an average lead-time of less than 10 days.

In the role of GM, Ales will focus on faster lead time with stronger delivery performance and continued improvement of Century’s lean manufacturing and quality systems.
