Installation Time: 1-2 hours

Tools Required: Sockets, screw driver, 1.25” (32mm) hole saw

Installation Steps

Install the canister towards the front of the truck bed making sure you center the canister with the lips resting on both sides of the truck bed.

Locate the left “LH” and right “RH” side rails and place them against each bed rail.

Secure the side rails and align with the canister by using the rail clamps and shims provided. Clamp the side rail onto the bed near the canister and shim near the tail gate. It will be helpful if a friend can pull the rail tightly to the bedside while the other installs the clamps.

Pull the curtain out making sure it slides smoothly. Pull it all the way till the curtain locks when fully extended then install the canister lid.

Fit the drain hoses. You do this buy drilling a 1.25” (32mm) hole saw through the inside panel of the truck bed roughly 8” below the rear drain plugs. Place the two drain hose grommets into the new holes and cut the suitable length of drain hose, pushing on end over the drain plug and the other through the grommet.

Finally, adjust the lock assembly hidden under the rails and you’re good to go!

These covers come with a textured powder coated finish (color matching also available), weather resistant, features a 2 year limited warranty, locks every 12 inches and is the toughest retractable aluminum cover available. Special thanks to Rhino Linings in Temecula, Caifornia, for spraying the truck prior to our tonneau installation.
